Last chance

The last blog of 2011. I wish you all a very happy new year, and wishes for new amazing posibilities!

New year rant.

KAISERS ORCHESTRA IS NOT A GOOD BAND!
There. I said it.
"Hey we are from Stavanger and use weird instruments" Sure, congrats about them being famous & shit. It's more like the crowd liking them I'm annoyed about. Not that I'm saying that's an excuse to make terrible music :P
"Hello we're being alternative JUST by listening to them!" Or "I am SO alternative! Of course I'm listening to Kaisers! What, are you mad?" When I think about it, there is a third. "Oh look, I am SO musical and know stuff about music, I need to like these to keep my credibility as a musician in my group of friends."
They are ... Ugh.
No.
Just no.

Go away!

Epicosity

My sister Rebekka showed me something awesome.
I was told to type in "why" in google....
This is what I got:

Hah, and then she said "type in 'are' aswell"...
I died a little.
Look at that long one!

I died a lot.
THIS NEEDED SHARIN'!

The pulling of pranks.

Well not exactly a prank. More like messing with the system.
Or titles. I love titles!
I want a pet title!
I'd kill to be a Sir! :D
Well not exactly kill, but more like cuddle-murder. Like a puppy.

It's always good to start the morning talking about murder.
Shows you are a healthy teenager. Or in my case: infant.

HAPPY BOXING DAY! :D

Added this for Alan. Purely for him. ONLY for him. You're welcome Alan. :P

1st day of Christmas

We tried out the candy floss machine today.
IT WAS EPIC!
My first ever candy floss

My lovely sister with even more candy floss. She's being so delicate about everything. It's her thing.

Da machine. Of sugayness. With sugar.

Sugar.

My sister playing the "flute" on the candy floss stick.
After the epic candy floss machine-experience we had coffee and cakes. Like decent families usually does. :P
We played a game called "Brunost, langrenn og lusekofte" (Google it.) which is a "how norwegian are you"-game. It was great. One of the questions were "If a person sits next to you on the bus with many spare seats, do you think this person is a nutter?" And you would get 3 points or so if you said yes, or something like that. It was great! Grandma's present.
"Do you own a waffle iron?"
"Do you have a chunk of brown cheese and milk in your fridge?" I felt kinda discriminated as I live in a country that has NO BROWN CHEESE! They should get some sporadically.
On the black chair is my sister, then my uncle, then my other sister, then my grandma and then my mother. FAMELEH!
And after that again, us kids went down in the basement and played some playstation. Which is important.
A bit of CTR and Spyro is very very good. Bashing some bad-guys and beating people in races with dirty tricks: ALWAYS GOOD. Gotta love them PSone games. In my opinion they are the best ones.

A sibling who is taken up by the TV and it's excitingness. Playstation shuts your kid up. BUY ONE TODAY!
So we were playing that for a bit. Which was nice. But I realised I had completed it two times already so couldn't collect any gems. But it was still fine.

SPYRO! :D ...Shit picture, but ya get the gist!
ARGH HE'S SO CUTE! I love that game. SO MUCH.

URGHHHH...

I may have feasted too much. My stomach's trying to explode. I LOOK LIKE A BOOMER!!! True story. But now I wanna go home and try out my cotton candy machine - yes you read correctly: a cotton candy machine! How awesome is that!? I think that's pretty rad. Also got loads more shiny loot. Gotta love loot. I love the annual woolen socks from grandma. They're grand! Ahhhh. Going to add a photo when back in the house!

Christmas Eve!

In merry ol' Norway, we celebrate Christmas today, on the proper day, of course.
Have been delivering presents and watching the traditional Christmas TV.
It's all gooooood.
Then, at 5, we go to the grandparents and FEAST!
It's cool.
Going to try and pop some monocles with my "radical" opinions.
Weird church-people. Boring as fuck.
But by all means. All to their own....
And for that I'm stupid. Gotta love good old "dad" with his delicate words.
Well at least I'm not worshipping something that might not be there.
SCIENCE!

WOOP!

I can't wait to eat all the lovely food.
FOOOOOD.
I hope I find the almond and win the price!
Yes.
CHRISTMAS!

OOH! And this is my 300'th blog post!  YAY! 300 posts of pure shit. That's pretty good I think! :P Congratulations, here's a picture of our Christmas tree!

Søgne of AWESOMENESS.

Snow snow, beautiful snow! I'm definitely hoping for a white Christmas this year!
So we've started preparing for Christmas! We decorated the tree earlier, which was nice and stuff, and probably going to bake sugar cookies tomorrow whilst scream-singing after various Christmas carols.
With my sister.
Would be weird doing such alone. Slightly.

SNOW! :D
We visited grandpa's grave earlier as well and put a little wreath on his grave. Was nice to get that done.
On the way back and forth we sang loudly to absolutely shit music that should never have been made.
Ever.
Living at home naturally makes my desire to kill my siblings even bigger and more urgent than ever.
Sharing a room with the youngest sister, Stina, and that is murder. Not only has she claimed the whole room, but she can't even share the god damn rubbish bin with me! She needs it next to her bloody bed! I ended up emptying it over her bed so she could enjoy her precious crap, but I don't think she appreciated that, that ungrateful bastard. Nothing makes her happy!
:P

More snow!
Look at all the snow! Yay! Gotta love the snow! I love the sound it makes when you step on it. Imagine all the Who's dying in the process! HAAAAAA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAA! .... I mean... Oh no!

Little Whoville was lying there,
Small and peaceful and so faire.
Then got trampled, who knows from where!
It was a giant big pair
of shiny new shoes made for a bear.
The Who's said squish
and voilà a new dish
was made for the happy big bear.

The view from Årosveden. This is Søgne!
Took a walk with two friends of mine, Trudi and Randi Elisabeth today. It was nicer than I'd expected it to be (I'm not much of a "fresh air" kinda gal... Any more. OK, I like the occasional hike here and there, but sometimes they are just plain torture.)! We ended up talking for ages before going back down. It was nice. Was a really good view of the sea and the islands dotting up our coastline. It was good being back up there. Used to go there every New Years Eve with the scouts, but stopped when I started attending the Folk High School.
Good times.
You can spot the two cairns that are on the Søgne crest in the middle near the "top" of the ocean :P I zoomed. So it's terribly grainy and bad.
Yay! Søgne!

HOME!

Being home has a few perks. Like lovely home made food!
Yay! Food and happiness and shit!
I had home made pizza for breakfast. It's pretty awesome. Pretty darn awesome.

Mmm-mm!
I had an hour long bath today as well whilst listening to loud music. Very loud music. Got to love being home alone! :D
In Norway! :D
Of doom!

Had a really nice evening yesterday with Carina and Frank :) We were playing D&D and being pervs as usual. Had a really good time. We ate Cheez Doodles and had Christmas Soda. And the occasional Christmas marzipan. I FREAKIN' LOVE CHRISTMAS! OOHH! I forgot about the burnt almonds! Yes! How could I forget!
It's important to remember everything we ate...
Foooood.

It's not really though. But it was memorable. And nice. And lovely.
I love them to bits!
Well this was a super-interesting blog post. Loads about food and shit. Great! :P
SAYONARA!

Homeway-blues

On the train to London now, not started driving yet. Must say I'm quite psyched about going home, even though I haven't had any home-sickness yet. Which is good I think! Swansea is a lovely city, going to miss it and the people in it a lot! Love them to bits, all of them! It will be good, however with a little break, to keep us from killing each other. God knows I wanted to during the assessment weeks.

Ooop! I found a note. Wonder if I can add pictures with this thing (writing on iPhone). Ooooh the train left! London here I come! I love London. London is so pretty and nice and awesome and stuff! Gotta love London.
I couldn't add photos from iPhone, so.. EDIT! Lovely note, eh?

God I LOVE Wolfmother. They are amazing. Their music is astounding. They are simply brilliant! The delux album of Cosmic Egg should be bought. I had no idea it existed! It's actually kinda rude to deprive fans of such awesomeness as the 4 songs on that album provides. Should be heard. ASAP. It was a friend who shared a link of Caroline (one of the songs) on Facebook. I thank Thee! Cosmonaut is also amazing. The two others are also cool, but have to admit that those two are the best.

I'm in Neath now. I must write like a retarded monkey on this thing. Urgh. Monkeys... 12 mins from Swansea to Neath. I have a classmate from Neath. I always thought the train ride would be like half an hour or so. Guess not. Good for him! :P 5.14 the time is. Too early! Hyjøøø is how welsh say "here". True story. They are weird. Omgthisisgonnabesuchalongday!!!!!

AH CANNAE SLEEP!

SO AH DECIDED TA WRRRRITE STUFF EN SKOTTISH EN KAPS LOKK!
GOTTA LOFF THEM SKOTTS, EH, LASS? ...LAD..! LASSILADD?
...
Because they always shout. In my stereotype. Because that makes it more fun.
And wear kilts, with a bagpipe constantly hanging on them under their arm, whilst eating haggis. And possibly also balancing a pint somehow. Ah, yes.
Got to love them stereotypes.

Yet ANOTHER assessment over!

Exploring Theatre assessment today.
I am so relieved there aren't any more practical assessments.
If there had been, I would probably have killed the "Perfect" - Stonefaced - Arrogant - Spoilt brat - girl in my class. I won't mention names, because I'm far too awesome to sink that low. :P
(She called me arrogant. So I'm taking the piss. I'm not sure she actually know what the word "Arrogant" mean, but I guess she's kinda right, I'll give her that. But if I ever get as bad as her, please kill me, and bury me in a shoe. Oh yeah, and what set her bitch-fit off was "Can we please go through our piece, please, even if she's not in it?"... Amy and I did it plenty of times without them two, I honestly can't see the problem in doing it a few more times without the other person who was rehearsing another scene...)

LOOK! A bunny!
Anyway, apart from Bitch-alert and extremely frustrating classmates who can't take initiative whether their life depended on it, and when they think they do, they demotivate people by commanding them to do stuff, it's been all right.
A friend of mine find the class unprofessional, and, honestly, they are a bit immature about things. I know I'm immature as well, but I'm at least trying to get them up and standing and do some practising instead of just sitting there on their arses and doing shit.
I don't have enough experience to tell if they really are unprofessional or not, so I can't agree or disagree, but I do believe her when she say so.
And instead of whining to them, I whine here. I should probably say something, but it would only cause conflicts, and they would probably think I was even more arrogant. Oh well. Their education. ... And mine...
I'm starting to doubt whether I will be here next school year. Maybe I'll try and transfer to Edinburgh, see if they are able to take any initiative there. We won't be learning anything when the lecturers have to tell us off all the time. It's a waste of time, money and resources.

I'm done whining now, though.
But I do hope things get better, and people learn to take the criticism and make it into something positive instead of bitching about it.
I'm done now, honestly, with the whining! :P

15 days until I go back to Norway!
I really can't wait to see my friends again! Oh my lovely friends!
There are no words for how much I miss them!
Hopefully we'll get to play some D&D as well. Hopefully. I hope we will.
The new World of Warcraft patch is lots of fun, the new instances are a nice change! But I'm guessing they will get old pretty fast, like the Zandalari ones, but you never know, Blizzard may come out with a new patch with some new ones, out of the blue (though, I kind of doubt that) one day...
It's a lot of fun to play now, you get so much lore! And it's fun to see what the place that became the Maelstrom used to look like.
Hop, night time it is.

December!

THE FIRST OF DECEMBER!! WOOOOH! It's Christmas!!!
I NEED A CHRISTMAS CALENDAR STAT!

Going home in 16 days! This will be fun. I can't wait to see my amazing friends again!
And it will be absolutely insanely good to be able to relax a bit after all the assessments. (Another one tomorrow. Gotta love it.... (I lie)) I keep getting stuck on the third verse of 'The Road Not Taken' by Robert Frost...

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

That's it. That's the sucker I'm struggling with.
Grrrr... I refuse to go to bed before I have it nailed, so there probably will be a frustrated post tomorrow about how much I suck and the like.

"Argh! I want mah boddeh! Ar!" Slightly Arnold inspired.
Look, a random picture of a Frankenstein monster that I drew... Once...!

It's farting wires.
... I should stop procrastinating and continue with the memorising of that bloody poem.
Good night!
